The series Souvenirs come from a confrontation between urban poetic cityscapes that surrounded me and a world leaded by consumption, which tends to impose its codes. The result of this confrontation could be seen as a new esthetic of Love, may it be influenced by people, fashion or religion. But the play on different textures and backgrounds is here as a reminder that somehow this poetic vision is just an illusion...
White Summer
The series White Summer reveals a minimalist approach, in black and white of life and landscape.
The absence of colors or disruptive elements enhances the body shapes, the silhouettes.
On the water or in the sand, maybe even in the snow, those silhouettes appear like animated characters.
The water makes the bodies danse and let a great place for imagination...
